The Elevator Pitch Competition is a startup event that showcases the University of Ottawa’s youngest and sharpest entrepreneurs to compete against one another for prize money of up to $35 000. The competition is divided into 2 categories; Validation and Traction.

Do you have an idea for a potential start-up? Or a simple idea to make a difference in the community? Come and share it with a panel of judges, get some feedback and gain experience during the next edition of the Entrepreneurial Idea Competition
The Entrepreneurship Concepts competition lets students present their innovative business plans to a panel of judges from the Ottawa community. Students are required to prepare a business plan with the support and guidance of experts. Then, they present their plan for the chance to win $5,000 for first place, $3,000 for second place, and $2,000 for third place.
The University of Ottawa is pleased to invite students and faculty who have created startup ventures to participate in a competition that will result in up to five companies being selected for an exclusive trip to Silicon Valley in the spring.
